This is a Video guide for the Documentary, La Historia de América Latina, Pueblos Silvícolas y Fluviales. This video is 50 minutes long in Spanish and available free on rtve.es (radio televisión española). No account is necessary and the video can be streamed or downloaded.
The video guide has a total of 100 questions of general comprehension and vocabulary in multiple choice, true/ false, matching sentence completion and matching identifications. The guide is divided into two parts so that the video can be watched during two different class periods or they can be combined to watch the whole video at once. It is appropriate for an upper-level high school Spanish class. A full answer key is included. It worked well in my AP Spanish language class, giving the students insight into the colonization and indigenous cultures of the Amazon region while improving their listening skills.
