Suited for Intermediate Low to High. I have used this for Spanish 3 Honors as well as Spanish for heritage speakers. Sentences are in Spanish but many contain cognates to facilitate comprehension.
A follow up activity would be a Web Quest for a specific topic in their interactive notebook that interested the student and would like to learn more. Afterwards, students share their additional research with the class earning them extra points for research and speaking in the target language.
