Pumpkin Day

Are you looking for a non-scary way to have fun with your class on Halloween but without actually celebrating Halloween? If so, Pumpkin Day is the way to go! This fun-filled, educational day revolves around learning all about pumpkins. With volunteers in the classroom, students will visit stations around the classroom in small groups. Each station includes a hands-on activity linked to writing, reading, math, or science standards. Also included in this packet are activities and graphic organizers related to pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and the life cycle of a pumpkin! This packet is also a great resource for any pumpkin life cycle unit.
