How Would You Describe Your Pumpkin?
Last year I bought my students small pumpkins around Halloween. Since we had been learning about describing words, I had my students make a list of words describing their pumpkins. Then they used their brainstorm list to write a paragraph about their pumpkin. It was a cute way to get students thinking about descriptive words around Halloween!
