Descriptive writing template about pumpkins. Designed for Kindergarten, but could also be used for other primary grades.
Have students color the pumpkin, then describe it (big, round, orange, etc).
Students complete the sentence frame on the first line with a descriptive word about the pumpkin.
Second line, they trace sentence frame and add descriptive word.
Third line, they trace first letter and complete the words of the sentence frame, and then add another descriptive word.
Fourth line, they attempt to write their own sentence "The pumpkin is..."
