Teachers and parents,
Use this activity to talk about all the sights, sounds, activities, and various events in October (trick or treating pumpkin carving, wearing costumes, walking up to a stranger’s door, seeing different types of costumes, getting candy, etc.)
Talk about the different types of EMOTIONS, and how it is ok to feel different emotions at this time of year. Write down (either the student or the adult) what matches with each pumpkin’s emotion. In the little pumpkin, have the child draw the emotion face that matches. Color in the pumpkin a color of choice!
Happy Halloween, Stacy Triplat
