Use this cute, kid-friendly page to record your observations and findings during pumpkin exploration. Students can write their name, describe what their pumpkin looks like ("My pumpkin is..."), measure the height and width of their pumpkin with cubes and blocks, describe the inside of their pumpkin, and count the lines on the outside of their pumpkin. To measure the width of your pumpkin, I recommend that you show your students how to wrap a piece of yarn around the middle of the pumpkin and cut it to the correct length. Then, lay the string down and measure it with blocks or cubes. This document contains a color version as well as a black and white version. This product was created by Miss Mack's Kindergarten.
