Every holiday we have at school is always crazy! I love incorporating STEM activities during a holiday because it keeps the students engaged, working on team building skills, and collaborating with each other! I do this lesson in one, 47 minute class period. You could definitely do this with a longer block by allowing the students more time to build!
The challenge: Students will build the tallest pumpkin stand using items provided.
This pumpkin STEM activity is perfect for Halloween! Both files are completely editable, so you can change it to fit your classroom. Don't have some of the materials? That's fine! Change the materials that your students use based off of what you have in your classroom!
