Beginning (Initial) Sound and Letter Match: Pumpkin Theme
This is a great resource for students to learn to identify letters and recognize beginning sounds! There are 26 pumpkin puzzles: one for each letter of the alphabet. Each pumpkin puzzle is divided into three parts: the capital letter, the lowercase letter, and a picture that begins with that letter. Students must match the correct letters with the corresponding picture (which begins with those letters). This is a wonderful fall literacy center activity or for Letter P week, but it can also be used as a morning work activity for students who need a bit of extra practice.
