Product Description
What a better way to explore numbers than with pumpkins, this number sense pack has 10 different number sense activities designed to help your students learn, recognize and work with numbers in various formats for numbers 0-20 (also includes numbers 1-100 in one activity).

Included:
Scarecrow Pumpkin Number Match: students have an scarecrow with a number on its chest and they need to find and match the 6 different ways to make that number to the correct scarecrow. This activity is easy to differentiate by the range of number scarecrows you provide the students to work with and by the number of pumpkin number matching cards. Matching cards include: one to one counting, counting fingers, tens frame, dominoes, dice, and the number word.

Bump Games: 2 number match bump games for numbers 1-5 and numbers 1-10, both games come with a spinner and instructions on how to play. Also includes and add 1 for both 1-5 and 1-10 (spin and add one more so spin 2 add one more 2+1=3 cover the 3)

Stack and Cover: students roll a dice, count the dots (subitizing) then they find the number on the game board and stack unfix cubes to match the number and then cover the number. This provides great one to one counting practice as well as number recognition for numbers 1-6

Pumpkin Picking - students place 10 pumpkins in the pumpkin patch, then spin the spinner to find out how many pumpkins to remove from the patch (a great introduction to the idea of subtraction). Even better race with friends to see who can empty their pumpkin patch first.

Missing Number - practicing before, after and between as students try to find the pumpkins with the correct number on it to replace the picked one - comes with 2 optional recording sheets (0-10 and 0-20)

Roam the Room (scoot): one to one counting cards for numbers 1-20, place cards around the room and have students roam around counting the pictures and writing the number on their recording sheet. Two recording sheets are provided 1-10 and 1-20 allowing you to work with your students where they are at.

Count and Clip cards: students count the number of pumpkins on the card and match their answer to one of the numbers, they can either clip the answer with a peg or paper clip or you can have them mark it with a dry eraser pen.
