This clip card resource provides five fun and inviting pumpkin themed math centers for your little learners to practice numerals to 20. This packet includes:
• 1 pumpkin seed ten frames clip card activity
• 1 pumpkin seed count and clip card activity
• 1 dice count and clip card activity
• 1 base ten blocks clip card activity (MAB blocks)
• 1 tally marks clip card activity
These activities work well with fall/autumn, harvest, pumpkin, and farm themes.
IMPORTANT: These activities are appropriate for use by learners and classrooms who DO NOT celebrate Halloween. The pumpkin images are NOT depicted as Jack-o-Lanterns.
Print, laminate, and cut out the clip cards. You will need to supply 102 clothespins for all 5 activities in this packet.
There is a math task and a choice of three numerals printed on each card. Learners clip a clothespin on the correct numeral for the task on the card or they can use dry erase markers to circle the correct numeral. You may opt to make these cards self-checking by writing the answer on the back or marking a dot on the back at the correct spot. Put the cards and clips in a zippered binder pouch for early finisher activities or take home practice. You may also put the cards in a dollar store photo album and use a dry erase marker to make a write-on/wipe-off activity.
These clip cards help learners develop numeracy and support the Math Common Core Standards for Counting and Cardinality. The activities are a great way to address subitizing and help your little learners attain number fluency.
