Description
Take your teletherapy students on a virtual field trip to the pumpkin patch! This activity fits perfectly with a pumpkin theme in the fall and uses REAL PHOTOS to elicit language or introduce vocabulary/concepts.
The first part of the activity (about 8 pages) gives basic information about how pumpkins grow and what they can be used for. Then there are 15 pages showing photos of different types of pumpkins with prompts for language targets on each page, including description, prepositions, compare/contrast, formulating sentences, and asking questions. However, you could use this digital language experience for many students and goal areas!
This PDF can be used on a computer, teletherapy platform, tablet, or interactive whiteboard. Each page has clickable buttons to navigate between pages. There are not fillable text boxes for the answers, as this activity is meant to be used to elicit verbal responses in individual and group speech therapy sessions.
