Description

Get students engaged with informative writing about pumpkins using this resource and craft. Students will research information about pumpkins and then record their findings on various note catchers. This writing project can be spanned across 5-6 days, or is easily modified to be a one day activity. The project includes planning, drafting, editing, publishing and rubric pages that are all aligned with the common core. The craft is easy to do and makes a great bulletin board display. There are photo examples of each page that can be replicated or printed as an example for your students. I also include a teaching guide for how I would use this resource in my own classroom.
