Don't just stand in class and say the rules; let THEM find the rules themselves.
Whether you wanna call it student-centered learning, inquiry-based or move-your-butt-and-do-something-useful approach, in the end, it's gonna STICK!
1. Give your students the "Students Rules" document (Hard or soft copy) prior to discussing the lesson.
2. Ask them to find the rules and complete the document.
3. Discuss rules next day in class and correct their answers collectively.
4. Apply on practice handout.
I appreciate your feedback! :)
