Teaching dialogue is a great minilesson for any time of the year! I find that it works wonderfully in September...during the first couple of days or week or two of school. It's not too heavy that it will hurt those still-on-vacation brains. It's a good balance of creativity and content. This is also great to teach in June, during those last few weeks, when everyone has summer on the brain!!
For this reason, I gave you printables and activities that have a summer theme. Your students will have fun with the activities, and you'll be able to reinforce or introduce punctuating dialogue rules in a fun way!
This is a 29 page packet! It includes lots of activities, printables, transparencies, and ideas as to how to implement the activities into your classroom routine. I hope you have as much success with it as I have had.
