This is a PowerPoint presentation that could be used for upper elementary, middle, or high school classrooms. It is designed in a clean and thorough fashion, with a little bit of humor and color.
It can be used to teach and/or review the punctuation rules for dialogue. I used it as a mini-lesson for my 8th graders before they wrote personal narratives.
Examples are present throughout the presentation, along with a "check for understanding" moment.
The last slide includes an opportunity for practice that could be easily used as an exit ticket.
