Punctuation - Capitalization Cards or Game Sticks: Cut out and glue the six “cards” onto their own craft stick (not included). Look at and listen to the sentence that is read to you. Hold up the card or the game stick that tells the punctuation or capitalization needed in the sentence.
How to Make the Game Sticks
Print the page of “cards” on standard and letter-size paper. For a firmer card, use cardstock.
You may want to laminate the page/s before cutting.
Cut out the “cards.”
Using glue or tape, attach each card to a popsicle stick or craft stick.
Optional: If you want a two-sided card, print the same page twice. Now, with the craft stick attached in between the two cards, glue the backs of the two cards together.
Optional: Bamboo skewers may be used in place of the craft sticks.
There are so many ways you can use these! Enjoy!
