This assignment allows students to think about punctuation rules in a creative and engaging way. Divide students into groups and either assign them a punctuation mark or have them select one at random. They are then tasked with creating a Punctuation Protector, or superhero that represents their form of punctuation. Through either a comic strip, video or model, they will then present their punctuation mark to the class.
