This quiz is meant to assess student's ability to use punctuation properly when writing or completing the processes of editing and revising.
Students are asked to read each sentence to find errors in capitalization, commas, apostrophes, periods, and quotation marks. Then, rewrite the sentence using the correct punctuation.
Each answer is worth 2 points, but this can be modified to fit your own grading scale. Included at the end of the assessment is a "Bonus" prompt, which asks students to try and create a sentence that uses capitalization, commas, and quotation marks with accuracy.
Good luck testing & HAPPY TEACHING!
