1. An introductory slide with a picture overview of the punctuation
2. A slide with specific rules in kid-friendly language and correct examples of each rule
3. A slide with more correct examples and popular misuses of the punctuation WITH STUDENT-FRIENDLY EXPLANATIONS
4. An interactive slide that quizzes students about usage and then shows the correct answers upon the teacher's click to proceed
At the end of the presentation, there is a slide containing one paragraph. This quiz contains several punctuation errors. The class can work on it together seminar style or students can silently correct and write down the passage. Of course there's an answer key at the end!
This can be used for review, introduction, quizzing, or everyday practice in the 6th - 12th grade classroom.
