PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Help build a strong foundation for understanding statements and questions.

Includes over 75 sentence cards and 2 Cut and Paste Worksheets.
Cards can be mixed and matched and used for sorts, games, and punctuation practice in whole group, small group, and centers.

Statement/Question Cards:
Sentences are written without the punctuation to allow students to decide if a period or question mark is needed. They can mark the correct box and then sort them into categories.

Who Can Say It? I Can Say It.:
Students will pick from 36 sentence starters. The cards have one word that would start a statement or a question. Students will use the sentence starter to come up with their own sentence. Can be used verbally or written.

LOTTO (up to 4 players)
Students will pull a sentence card and read it. They determine if it is a statement or question (punctuation is included on these cards). They will then mark off a spot on their LOTTO board. First player to get 4-in-a-row wins!

2 Cut and Paste Worksheets are also included.
-Sort the statements and questions
-Identify the missing punctuation
