These push pin shape cards are so much fun for your Kindergarteners! They get fine motor and shape practice while being independent AND they are in Spanish.
Simply cut each page in half and staple the template to a colored sheet of paper of the same size. Each student receives a push pin and pokes holes along the lines into the colored paper. It is best to do on the carpet so each poke goes all the way through and doesn't injure the student. When the student has created holes along the lines, remove the shape template on top and reveal the outline on the colored paper beneath. Creates a nice display on classroom window to show what you have been learning. Add further knowledge about the shape around it as well.
They look great in the window and the fine motor practice is priceless.
Look forward to more "Números Espinosos" and "Letras Espinosas" in Spanish to come! :)
This activity/center meets Kindergarten standard K.3.1.1: Recognize basic 2-D and 3-D shapes.
