Product Description
This worksheet is designed to help facilitate discussions that will help students better understand empathy and point of view. Teaching students point of view helps them to learn that everyone has different thoughts, feelings and emotions. When you try to “put yourself into someone else’s shoes”, you are trying to think like them. Understanding different perspectives and points of view helps students to understand people and social situations better. Teaching perspective taking also helps students to develop a memory “set” for people in order to create a basis of understanding about potential actions well as a memory “set” for social requirements in different environments and contexts. Perspective taking is particularly important to help formulate and use language to talk with people about their interests.
