Students travel to each "city" and solve the pythagorean theorem based word problem. They place their final answers on their airline ticket. Have students turn this in as they "fly away" to their next class.
There are 8 cities total!
Recommendation: Place each "city" station into a plastic page protector. Then you can use an EXPO or dry erase marker to mark on the pictures if students have questions and erase it before the next class arrives.
Students are required to simplify radicals and round, so a calculator is recommended.
