This Bingo game contains an assortment of pythagorean theorem word problem questions aligned with the common core. This is a fun way to review for a test. My kids love playing bingo math. They forget that they are reviewing and just have fun.
I usually allow my students to work in pairs on the bingo games. They both get bingo cards, but if one person get a bingo they both win a prize. This encourages students to work together and help each other. I have found they learn a lot more by having their partner teach them a topic than from me standing at the board.
There are enough problems to extend the game past the straight line. I usually start with a straight line, then four corners, then big picture frame, and finally black out. This gives a bunch of students a chance to win and allows me to review more concepts.
I have included preview pictures for you to see what the questions look like. Prefilled bingo cards are in pdf format and the game is in a powerpoint for ease of use.
