This is a cooperative learning activity for groups of two to create and solve their own word problem to use the Pythagorean Theorem to find a missing length. It should be given after students are familiar with Pythagorean Theorem word problems and after examples are provided. The teacher's initials are needed before moving to the next step to make sure the problem is reasonable. The last two steps require construction of a poster and presentation of the poster. The sheet is to be double-sided and cut in half. A scoring rubric is given on the back side.
