It’s purpose is to provide students extra practice for Pythagorean Theorem. It is a great way to have students up out of their seats working independently or with a partner. To motivate students I usually provide some sort of prize for the first, second and third place finishers with correct answers and of course work shown.
To do the scavenger hunt, I place posters around the room up on the wall. I have mine laminated to use over and over again. With student worksheet, students can start at any poster and go around the room matching their answers to the bottom of other posters. Then doing the current poster problem getting an answer and finding it on the bottom of another poster in the room. Students will end where they started if all work is done correctly.
Answer key is provided on last slide. Have fun!
