Two Mazes on Converse of Pythagorean theorem, one maze on the Pythagorean Theorem with whole numbers and a "DESIGN YOUR OWN" maze for students to plan a route and find the answers themselves. PAGE 5 that isn't shown has the picture to use. Page 4 is just to plan the route. Teachers in my department have been using my design and have been enjoying making other types of mazes for their classes. I think students would enjoy making their own too.
For the converse of pythag theorem, students will add the 2 smallest numbers and determine if it's greater than the third number. If it is, then they will use the pythag theorem to determine if the two smaller numbers to the second power are less, equal or greater than the third number to the second power. They will classify the triangles as acute, right or obtuse. If the sides do not form a triangle, they will answer, NOT for the maze.
