This foldable helps students use the Converse Pythagorean’s Theorem and Pythagorean's Inequalities to determine is 3 side lengths will form a right, obtuse, or acute triangle.
I have included 2 sizes for the foldable. The smaller size works well in Interactive Student Notebooks(ISN).
The next part of the package is a sort. Students are given sets of 3 numbers. The must use their foldable to decide if the 3 numbers would form a triangle, and if it does is the new triangle a right, obtuse or acute triangle.
There are 2 versions for the sort. One with whole numbers and the one that includes fraction, decimals and square roots.
Included is a sorting mat and answer key
