I created this file to help my students determine the difference between different questions. This Question-Answer-Relationship (QAR) Organizer is to be used AFTER reading. The students read a teacher-selected text and then the teacher provides the students with predetermined questions. Through teacher modeling, students learn to determine the difference between "Right There", "Think & Search", "Author & You", and "On Your Own" questions. Different types of questions require a different approach to developing an answer. Once students are able to classify questions under these types, they will be more successful when developing their answer.
I included two versions in this digital product. The first of which is a user-friendly, EDITABLE template in which a teacher can simply click to type predetermined questions that relate to a teacher-selected text. The second version has blank lines on which students can create one of each type of question. This could then be exchanged with a partner who determines the type of question.
