This worksheet is designed to go along with the Math Tools Booklet as a visual means for students who struggle with word problems. This worksheet is perfect for giving students a very simple problem solving and thinking strategy. QFS stands for Question, Fact, Solution. It is an extremely simple, but effective strategy for word problems. The student is taught how to identify the question, find the information relevant to the question (facts), then determine a solution strategy based on that information. I have found this to be highly effective, especially when taught at a young age. We use this extensively with our students who have identified disabilities.
More information on the QFS method can be found on our website. www.eaalearning.com
