Students can practice adding and subtracting whole numbers through the thousands place by playing Jenga. This set contains 48 addition/subtraction cards. Each card is placed on a block using double-sided tape. Students stack the blocks to create a tower. Then, students take turns removing a block and solving the addition or subtraction problem on paper or a dry erase board. Students can scan the QR codes to check their answers. Students can keep any block that is answered correctly. When a problem is answered incorrectly, the block could be placed in a separate pile or added to the top of the tower. At the end of the game, or when the tower falls over, the winner is the player who has the most blocks.
