All Aboard, Decimals!
Are you trying to find a technology-based, student centers or stations? Well this is it to help address decimals. This could be done as a review, intervention practice, lesson extension, differentiation, group work, partners, independent, etc! I recommend (and have done so for my classroom) that you print out on card stock, then laminate to be able to use over and over. Student receive a "Student Response Sheet" and they get busy in their center! There are so many lesson ideas that could go with this activity. The "wow" factor in this activity is that students can use their technological device and scan the QR code on each of the Task Cards and see if their answer is right.
Get ready to have some fun with these nautical themed decimal task cards. The 28 task cards address:
-ordering decimals from least to greatest
-ordering decimals from greatest to least
-writing word form of decimal
-writing the decimal of a fraction (ex: 3/10 = .3)
-writing decimal for shaded portion
