Students can use these task cards to practice their identifying fraction skills. Task cards can be used in several different ways.
1. Around the Room: Students go hunt around the room for the cards that are placed around the room.
2. Math Center: Place the cards in a basket and students can grab and answer them at random!
3. Scoot: Scoot activities are a fun engaging way to get your students up and moving. Cut apart each card and place around the room. The students are given a certain amount of time to answer the card they are at. The teacher then tells the class to scoot, the students switch to the next card or area and answer the card. This continues until all students have answers for all cards.
This scoot activity incorporates a set of 28 fraction identification problems.
I have also included a full set of black and white scoot cards that are printer friendly!
