Use these task cards as one of your CPAs or during your small group instruction. I used them after I taught a mini lesson about equality and the importance of the equal sign. I taught them that the sign actually means "same as" or to think of a see-saw and remember to balance the equations. The students then can work independently on the cards, while checking their answers by scanning the QR code with an iOS device such as an iPad, iPhone, etc.
This set includes 32 task cards where the students determine if the equation is true or false. It also includes an answer key.
