My students LOVE using QR codes and it gets them up and moving plus incorporates ICT at the same time.
This activity is ideal for further country research and to test students geographical knowledge. Each task card includes 3 criteria that identify a particular country, ranging from a traditional food, famous landmark, popular national personality etc. Students are required to use the clues to work out which country each card is referring to.
This activity includes 26 task cards for students to answer, then scan the QR code to check their answers and self-correct. 26 cards too many? A worksheet to accommodate for 13 task cards to complete is also included. A variety of recording sheets catering for various learning styles, along with complete instructions and an answer key is also included. When students scan the QR code, a link to google maps with co-ordinates will will appear on the QR reader screen and show them the correct geographical location.
As a perfect addition to either a learning centre or whole class ‘read the room’ task, this will have your students asking for more!
