I created this activity to help my students review rhythms using quarter notes, barred eighth notes, half notes, and quarter rests using QR codes and iPads/iPods.
Students are put into groups of 3. Each student has a job (iPad/iPod, Rhythm Creator, Answer Person). Students scan the QR code and a rhythm is played (it repeats three times). Students then use the rhythm manipulatives found in my store or a white board to create the rhythm they hear. They then use the answer sheets (stapled into a file folder) to check their answers.
