Students use the iPod Touch or iPad to scan QR codes, to discover a set of “clues” for a story writing activity. They scan the QR codes and write the information on a story planning sheet. Next, they think about how they will set up their story, using the clues given in the QR codes. Finally, they start writing, paying careful attention to vocabulary choice, trying to use descriptive vocabulary (a few examples are given as a jumping off point). Common Core Aligned.
