QR codes make task cards more engaging! Simply cut out and laminate the cards and place in a center with a device that can read QR codes (iPod Touch, iPad, tablet, or laptop/desktop with a camera). Students get immediate feedback when they scan the QR codes.
This set includes 26 task cards for which students are to identify the rule and continue the number pattern. Simply cut out the cards and laminate so students can write in their answers with vis-à-vis/dry-erase markers. OR have them record the rule and missing numbers on the student recording sheet.
Download the preview to see the task cards up close. A student response sheet and regular answer key are included.
**All of my math task card sets now include a one-page (6 question) quick assessment with an answer key. I sometimes use these to assess my students after completing the center or later in the week as a quiz grade.**
*These task cards are aligned to the Common Core State Standard 2.NBT.2
The sequences go up to 120, except for the 100s, which go up to 1,000!
The task cards are organized as follows, making it easy for you to use separately or mix-and-match:
#1-6: skip counting by 2s
#7-9: skip counting by 3s
#10-15: skip counting by 5s
#16-21: skip counting by 10s
#22-26: skip counting by 100s
