This product consists of Task Cards for Place Value up to 1200, Number Lines, and Comparing and Ordering Numbers. The students will stay engaged with these cards in a center or workstation while you work with you small group. Each task card has a QR code that students can easily scan to check their answers. Comes with student response sheets and an answer key just in case you don't want to use the scanners.
These task cards address the understanding of whole numbers up to 1,200 and comparing and ordering of these numbers using number lines. Students will extend their understanding of the base-10 place value system to include the thousands period and numbers up to 1,200. Students will compose and decompose numbers through 1,200. They will practice expanded form, word form, standard form, etc.). Students will use place value relationships in order to generate numbers that are more or less than a given number. Students will compare whole numbers up to 1,200 and represent the comparison using comparative language and symbols. Students will use number lines, to locate, name, and represent the order of these numbers. Students will solve word problems. The best part is that they can easily scan the QR code to self-check their answers.
QR Codes are very simple to use. Students can use an iPad or smart phones to scan. You can ask parents to donate their old smart phones that they no longer use. Ask the tech guy or lady at your school to set up the Wi-Fi. There are tons of free QR code readers. Just add the app to the phones and there you have it! Student will love it because they love anything that involves using iPads and phones… Hope you and your kiddos enjoy these!!!
Please check out the preview to see exactly what comes in this product. My goal is to translate these into Spanish soon and to make some more for other skills.
