QU POSTER--Encourage your students to do more than chant QU words. Using the graphic QU Word List (QU words are categorized by their parts of speech) and the My Blends Sentence sheet, your students will create their own "poster". A QU Poster/Anchor Chart is also included in this section.

INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOK--This component includes:
** a QUILT to introduce QU words that your students can read/recognize
** a FLAP-BOOK where your students will slide and read QU words; segment, write and choose the picture that demonstrates new QU words; choose and color all of the pictures that begin with QU; find all of the QU words in the word search puzzle; read sentences containing QU words, circle and write those words; write the phonemes for QU words and other rhyming words.
** Phonemic word strip ARROWS--to practice writing the phonemes for each QU word
** QUIVER to store the word strips
** ABC ORDER spacers and recording sheet
** QU BLENDS story tri-fold
** DIGRAPH Spin & Write word building review sheets (4 included)

SEGMENTING/BLENDING CARDS--picture cards for 20 words with the phonemes segmented. Corresponding word strips (without segmentation) are included for you to use in a self-checking literacy center or individual pencil box.

PHONEMIC FLIPS Interactive Blends--Perfect for independent seat work review. Using a dry erase marker, blends dice and lowercase letter manipulatives, your students will circle all of the pictures that begin with QU; read the story and identify/count all of the QU words; roll the k/QU/w dice and record each roll as a beginning sound, noting the ones that create real words; finally, they will build QU and other rhyming words with the letter manipulatives.
