This is a realistic fiction story that takes place in a little town close to the coast of a little island in the Caribbean Sea.
The people in these towns celebrate their patron, in this case the Virgin of Carmen. They have artists come to their towns and all kinds of kioskos with their favorite foods. Of course, it’s a great deal and a one year festivity, so everyone is excited.
It takes place in the summer. The mayor invites all kinds of artists and the people that used to live there come from wherever they live to be with them this one time a year. They offer them all kinds of goodies: lunch, dance, gifts, and much more.
