There are many possible applications of this version of a very famous story. You might use it to build confidence in public speaking skills. Or, you might use it to build appreciation for immigrants from foreign countries who only understand some of the words that we use when we talk too fast.
We might also use this to practice handwriting, making corrections as we go.
In a keyboarding class, we encourage students to open the the Word version of this story and use their spell checking abilities to catch all of the “typos” or errors. Teachers or homeschooling parents will point out that the Microsoft spell checker will not catch all of the misspelled words.
