This is a Quadratics Applications around the world activity (also known as scavenger hunts). Students love being able to get out of their desks and move around the room! There are a total of 15 problems that require students to use their calculator to answer the quadratic application problems. The following types of quadratic applications are covered: finding the maximum, finding the minimum, identifying the y-intercept/starting value, finding the time it takes for an object to hit the ground, finding the y value given x, and finding the x value given y. Teacher hints and student directions are included.
