Bundle Description
Introduce all quadratic forms (standard, intercept and vertex) with this mini-bundle. Your students will have a quick reference guide with half-page guided notes that can be glued in their notebooks or made as a packet. Also included, you will find no prep worksheets that focus on a variety of topics associated with all three forms.

The following concepts are covered on the notes and worksheets:

✸ Comparison to the parent function
✸ Identifying the axis of symmetry
✸ Identifying the vertex
✸ Will the parabola open up or down
✸ Completing a table for an equation
✸ Sketch the axis of symmetry and graph a parabola using the table
✸ Explaining if the parabola will have a maximum or minimum value
✸ Reformatting an equation
✸ Writing an equation from a graphed parabola
✸ Determining the number of solutions
✸ Explaining what the c-value represents
✸ Identify the intercepts from an equation

Students can practice their skills with three self-checking scavenger hunts. The scavenger hunt worksheets have twelve questions. The students must calculate and find the correct answer to move on to the next question. If the answer is not on the worksheet, the student will know that they have miscalculated or determined a wrong answer. Once they have successfully navigated through the entire worksheet, the last question will lead them back to the first question. My students enjoy working collaboratively on these scavenger hunts!
