This is an interactive whiteboard activity. Student can compete as teams or alone by choosing a moving figure on the whiteboard. This will connect them to a problem that will appear on the screen. Students then solve the question (I have them do this on individual or team dry erase boards at their desks.) Then you or the student can select the answer button and it will appear on the screen. Select back and you will go to the main screen of moving figures. These problems are all about finding x-intercepts using the quadratic formula, find the discriminate, and determine the number of solutions.
**Note: I designed this so that you can use with Algebra 1-so that negative square roots say no real solutions. AND I also made it for Algebra II and complex number so that you can include the i in the formula. The Algebra II answers are then in parenthesis after the Algebra I answer.
**If you are looking for just a complex number review this would not be good. There are only a few problems of doing the complete quadratic formula and ending up with an i in the end result.**
I have another interactive whiteboard game that is just with complex numbers.
