This unit is designed for students who have successfully completed Math 1 and are enrolled in an Integrated Math 2 course. This unit focuses on an introduction to key characteristics of a quadratic function and how to solve for its roots using multiple methods. (Factoring, Completing the Square, and the Quadratic Function). Prior to this unit, students need to know how to factor and solve an equation in perfect square form. The unit lasts about 3 weeks with given review time and assessments.
