A small group activity created by Liz Clark of Imagine-ary Numbers to assess student readiness for a unit on Quadratic Functions. Prerequisite skills include working with positive and negative integers, evaluating expressions, analyzing linear functions, applying the rules for exponents, and factoring quadratic expressions. For Socrative users, this activity links to a shared quiz. If you are not a Socrative user, a traditional answer key is provided. The activity is aligned with both Common Core (CCSS) content and mathematical practices standards. The design of the activity is based on 21st century learning skills (4Cs). The skill level from Bloom's Revised Taxonomy is Evaluating.
