Description
The students finish completing the quadratic function table and consider how a values impact the parabola. When they complete the table, they should recognize patterns of how to move from the vertex symmetrically given a certain a value. The table is also very helpful for an understanding of why a horizontal shrink of 1/2 is written as (2x)^2... because it takes 2 times the x to reach the same y as the parent function!
