This activity is useful as a review for graphing and solving quadratic functions. Students are grouped and rotate to solve each of the problems one piece at a time. Each group must review the work previously done at each rotation, and then add the next step. This allows students to be exposed to different quadratic functions and allows them to make connections between the format of the functions, the solutions, the vertices, and the graphs. There are 6 stations and 7 groups. One group acts as assistants during each rotation to help groups that may be stuck. Students may be numbered off or grouped according to ability. When completing this activity, I blow up and laminate each sheet so that students may write directly on them with dry erase markers. I use the power point to display the directions of each rotation to the class.
